We may also disclose personal information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pilot Audio Pty Ltd, our users, or the public, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).
"Sharing" for targeted advertising (California): We use the Meta Pixel and similar advertising technologies that may share online identifiers and your activity with Meta for advertising measurement and targeting. Under California law, this may be considered "sharing." You can opt out via the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism described in Section 7, by rejecting non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, or by using a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and your access period is valid, and as needed to provide the Services. After that, we retain information only as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
6.1 We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6.2 Because we are based in Australia and use service providers located in the United States, the European Union, and elsewhere, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries outside the one in which you live. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
- Delete — request deletion of personal information we hold about you
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell personal information for money; you may opt out of "sharing" for targeted advertising (see Section 4) at any time
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the rights above, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit certain uses. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out of "sharing" where applicable.
Residents of other US states (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) may have similar rights under their state laws.
How to exercise your rights: contact us at admin@pilotaudiousa.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 45 days for US state-law requests).

If you are under 18, we encourage you to involve a parent or guardian when creating an account or making a purchase. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without the required consent, we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be on this page with the "Last updated" date shown above.
